Our History
All of my work is original using acrylics, watercolor, inks, pencils and oils. If you are local or are going to be in the area, I highly encourage you to set up an appointment with me (floridakeysart@gmail.com) or go to Key Largo Art Gallery (103200 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037) to see my work as some of the beauty, detail, and uniqueness of my paintings is lost in a photo on the internet. If there is something you would like, but do not see, please call to inquire. I will do commissions with a 90% deposit. Contact me by email for pricing.
Our History
“TURTLES IN BLUE” was inspired by my love of all things BLUE in the Florida Keys, from the azure sky to the cobalt depths of the ocean. These Blues reflect off of the shells of the graceful turtles, who appear to fly through the water as they swim. This painting won Honorary

Laurie Comeau is an artist who has lived in the Florida Keys for 40 years. Born in Arizona, the daughter of a County Sheriff, she joined the United States Army in 1981. She served in Europe, Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Laurie moved to the Florida Keys after her military service and worked in the Hospitality Industry for many years.
Laurie enjoys creating art; utilizing oils, acrylics, pen and ink and watercolors. Most of her current work is done in acrylics. Her favorite subjects include the beautiful Sealife, birds, animals and the Florida Keys beauty surrounding her home.
